We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
The little Willow Flycatcher seems to welcome us each morning at the gate to the Heronry.
There were a couple of Beavers near the Heronry.

A Downy Woodpecker was seen nearby.
A Pileated Woodpecker was seen nearby.
A female Western Tanager and a female Bullock’s Oriole had an encounter in front of the Heronry.
A Barn Swallow startled a young Great Blue Heron in the farm field.
A Solitary Sandpiper was seen on the far side of the slough.
Northern Rough-winged Swallows were seen.
Eastern Kingbirds were looking after their young at the far end of the road past the Heronry.
Cedar Waxwings and their young were seen.
Common Yellowthroats were seen.
Black-headed Grosbeaks were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
We took a walk along the Lickman Dike Road.
Bees visited Chicory flowers.
Savannah Sparrows were gathering food for young.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Laurie with Daisy and Jade, Alyson with Chesney, Tracey with Doug and Whitey during our walk.
