We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Beavers were busy with each other.

A Northern Flicker appeared nearby.

Juvenile Great Blue Herons were seen along the way, there are a few still in the nests.

Eastern Kingbirds brought their fledglings to feed near the Heronry.

Two Bullock’s Orioles were seen in the same vicinity.

A Willow Flycatcher was seen in a Buddleia.

A Painted Lady Butterfly landed on a Blackberry.

Belted Kingfishers were also in the area.

Mallards were seen in large numbers.

Common Yellowthroats were seen along the way.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Mary and Wilma, Alyson with Chesney during our walk.
