August 2nd to 4th 2019

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Common Yellowthroats were seen along the way.

Wood Ducks were in many areas.

Cedar Waxwings had fledglings following them.

White-crowned Sparrows and Savannah Sparrows were seen.

An Orange-crowned Warbler popped out of the underbrush.

A Yellow Warbler was also seen.

Eastern Kingbirds were seen with juveniles.

Juvenile Great Blue Herons were seen in many areas.

Willow Flycatchers caught our attention as well as a Downy Woodpecker.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen in the slough.

Northern Flickers were seen as well.

Black-throated Gray Warblers were seen in a few spots.

A Beaver chose a shadowy spot for a short snack.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Christa, Elsie with Blue, Frank, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Neal, Denise with Summer, Tove with Benji during our walks.
