August 12th to 14th 2019

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

We always find Beavers entertaining.

Black-headed Grosbeaks were seen near the Main Bridge.

A Downy Woodpecker was also seen near the Main Bridge.

An Eagle flew over head in the distance.

Willow Flycatchers were seen in many spots.

Pied-billed Grebes were seen as well.

Great Blue Herons were seen near the Heronry.

A Belted Kingfisher sat on a log near the Heronry.

Mallards are always seen.

Orange-crowned Warblers are passing through our area at the moment.

Warbling Vireos are also passing through our area.

Red-eyed Vireos were seen as well.

American Robins were seen.

A Savannah Sparrow was seen in the distance at the far end of the road past the Heronry.

Song Sparrows are usually seen.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in a few spots.

Wood Ducks paddled past us.

Yellow Warblers were seen as well.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Elsie and Ken with Blue, Marco with Nali and Pepsi, Leona and Werner, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Alyson with Chesney, Jock with Hunter, Cathy with Tula during our walks.
