We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Wood Ducks are usually seen.
Northern Shovelers were seen.
Mallards were seen as usual.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen on the slough.
Great Blue Herons were seen in a few areas.
Warbling Vireos are passing through our area.
Swainson’s Thrushes are leaving for their southern wintering grounds.
Common Yellowthroats were seen.
Juvenile Cedar Waxwings were seen.
A Spotted Sandpiper was seen near the Heronry.
Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen in a few areas.
An Anna’s Hummingbird was also seen.
American Robins were seen in several spots.
An Orange-crowned Warbler was seen near the Main Bridge.
American Goldfinches enjoyed feeding in the Tansy and Blackberries.
A tiny frog was seen in the parking lot.
Damselflies were seen near the Main Bridge.
Willow Flycatchers were seen as well.
A Beaver was seen on two days.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Elsie and Ken with Blue, Lucy with Blondie and Leroy, Mary and Wilma, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Denise with Summer, Werner and Leona, Jock with Hunter, Melinda with Bosley, Denise with Summer, Tove with Benji, Karen with Tango, Frank, Neal, Mary and Wilma, Twyla with Gunner, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Leona and Werner, Lucy with Blondie, Leroy and Wiley, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Neal, Liz and Gordon with Boomer during our walks.
