We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver caught our attention as we wandered along.

A little Downy Woodpecker was seen on a snag nearby.

Mallards and Pied-billed Grebes were seen in the same area.

Northern Shovelers were seen nearby.

Wood Ducks were seen as well.

Great Blue Herons were seen in a few areas.

As we were walking along, we watched a Peregrine Falcon calling and flying. It landed in a tree and continued to call for a long time. We could hear it calling for quite awhile after we left.

White-crowned Sparrows were seen in several areas.

European Starlings are usually seen.

Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen along the way.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Elsie with Blue, Christa, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Graham during our walk.
