We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Downy Woodpecker was seen near the parking lot.
One morning during our walk, we saw a Beaver grooming itself.
Green-winged Teals were seen every day.
Ring-necked Ducks have started to return here for the winter.
American Wigeons spend the winter here as well.
Wood Ducks were seen in good sized flocks.
A Red-necked Grebe was seen at the South Lagoon.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen.
White-crowned Sparrows were also seen.
Spotted Towhees are residents and are usually seen.
A Swainson’s Thrush was seen from the Main Bridge.
Yellow-rumped Warblers are migrating through our area.
Common Yellowthroats are heading south for the winter.
A little Anna’s Hummingbird was perched on a branch near the North Lagoon.

It was nice to see Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogie, Alyson with Chesney, Christa during our walks.
