November 13th to 15th 2019
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
The Heronry resident Bald Eagles have built a new nest after their old nest tumbled down due to the heavy weight.
A Peregrine Falcon perched in a tree in the distance.
Green-winged Teals, Mallards, Northern Pintails and Wood Ducks were seen near the Heronry.
A solitary River Otter was seen near the Heronry as well. It was quite curious about us.
Lincoln’s Sparrows were seen along the way.
We also took a walk around Sardis Park today.
Dawn Redwoods are among the many ornamental trees at the park.
The leucistic Northwestern Crow was present.
Mallards are always at Sardis Park.
Hooded Mergansers were fishing and preening.
