March 14th to 17th 2020

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Green-winged Teal were enjoying finding food on the edges of logs.

Gadwalls were on the South Lagoon.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in a few places.

The Great Blue Herons were in marshy areas, sheltering from the wind and cold temperatures.

Dark-eyed Juncos were seen in many areas.

Mallards were seen in many areas.

One morning, a River Otter was fishing.

American Robins were seen in a few areas.

Tree Swallows were checking out areas to nest.

White-crowned Sparrows were seen near the parking lot.

A few White-throated Sparrows have been wintering at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeder area.

Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

We enjoyed seeing Leona, Charlie with Jack, Jodi and Barry, Jenny and Bill, Patrick with Sal, Alyson with Chesney, Elan and Michael with Lady and Jackson, Patrick with Sal, Sue, Mick with Roscoe during our walks.
