April 25th & 26th 2020

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

We enjoyed seeing three Beavers today.

A male Common Merganser floated on the slough.

One of the marsh resident Bald Eagles was on its nest.

A few Canada Geese were seen.

A male Rufous Hummingbird was seen.

American Robins were seen as usual.

A Savannah Sparrow was working hard at developing its territory.

Song Sparrows were also working on their territorial songs.

A Painted Turtle was seen at the marsh past the Heronry.

Wood Ducks were checking out places to nest.

A male Common Yellowthroat paused in a flowering Elderberry.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack and Bogey, Christa, Deb and Dave K., Terry and Jamie, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Tove and Barry with Benji, Jodi and Barry, Leona and Werner, Sue and Ulla during our walks.
