June 24th & 25th 2020

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver was seen grooming.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen as well.

A male Downy Woodpecker was still looking after its fledglings.

Willow Flycatchers were seen in many areas.

Mallards were seen in a few spots.

Tree Swallows are nesting. Some were resting on perches.

Spotted Towhees are usually seen.

Wood Ducks and ducklings were seen as usual at this time of year.

Male Common Yellowthroats are a favourite of ours.

We practiced social distancing with Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Randy with Chesney, Werner, Beverly with Mogli and Sampson, Lisa during our walks.
