February 1st to 5th 2017
We had our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen as usual at this time of year.
Black-capped Chickadees were seen along the way.
Great Blue Herons were seen in many area.
A few Bushtits were seen along the trail.
One of the resident Bald Eagles was seen.
Dark-eyed Juncos were gathering Alder seeds on the paths.
Ring-necked Ducks floated on the lagoons.
A female Downy Woodpecker was seen in the Salwein Creek forest.
Song Sparrows watched us while we walked along.

We enjoyed chatting with Camille and John LeFlock in the Rotary Interpretive Centre and William Snow, Tanya, Allison as well as Karen and Janet doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve Society. on the trails.
