We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Buffleheads were seen along the way.
A male Common Merganser found part of a large fish to eat.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen at the East Bird Blind.

A very wet resident Bald Eagle was seen near the Heronry.
A male Gadwall was sleeping near the shoreline.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were near the parking lot.
Great Blue Herons were seen in the farm field across from the Heronry as well as working on their nests at the Heronry.
Mallards are almost always seen somewhere.
A White-crowned Sparrow was seen in a Blackberry shrub.
American Wigeons were seen in several areas.
Wood Ducks were seen in many areas.

It was nice to chat with Rhian, Hazel, Terry with Bogey, Charlie with Jack as well as Janet on the trails.
