We took our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Great Blue Herons were seen in many locations.

American Kestrels were seen off in the distance.

Male Red-winged Blackbirds were performing their intricate songs and displays.

Mallards were seen in a few areas.

American Robins were seen as usual.

A large flock of Tree Swallows was seen.

A White-crowned Sparrow was seen along the path.

Large numbers of Wood Ducks were seen.

Male Common Yellowthroats were seen in many areas.

We enjoyed talking to Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey as well as Michelle with Lacy on the trails.
