We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-winged Blackbirds and blue skies welcomed spring today.

Green-winged Teal were together on the slough.

Wood Ducks were also seen.

Great Blue Herons were actively working on their nests. While we were at the far end of the road past the Heronry, one of the resident Bald Eagles flew into the Heronry causing the Great Blue Herons to fly out of their nests for awhile.

We enjoyed seeing Frank, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Alyson with Chesney, Jock with Hunter on the trails.
