Coyote
Three young Coyote Pups were playing in the channel next to the Heronry this morning. They were enjoying each other’s company while they climbed on logs and wandered through the grass. One of the pups noticed a Great Blue Heron in the slough. The pup enlisted the help of its siblings to charge after the Great Blue Heron. Of course, the Great Blue Heron was too smart and fast in its escape. The pups stood looking rather surprised after the Great Blue Heron flew away.
