March 2nd to 5th 2020

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Common Mergansers were trolling for fish.

Brown Creepers marched up tree trunks in search of insects.

A young Bald Eagle passed over the Heronry, causing a raucous.

Northern Flickers were seen in a few areas.

Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen.

Canada Geese were seen in several areas.

Green-winged Teal were also seen.

House Sparrows are often seen.

Mallards are often seen.

Osoberries are blooming.

American Robins were seen in several spots.

Song Sparrows are usually seen.

White-crowned Sparrows are often seen at this time of year.

White-throated Sparrows were seen as well.

Wood Ducks were seen in many areas.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie with Jack, Christa, Lucy with Blondie and Leroy, Karma with Nali and Pepsi, Patrick with Sal, Patrick with Sal, Helmut, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Leona, Alyson and Bronwyn with Chesney, Karma with Nali and Pepsi, Abbey and Sylvia during our walks.
