We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Male Common Yellowthroats were singing and defending their territories along the trails.
Wood Ducks were on logs, stumps and in trees looking for a good nest site.
White-crowned Sparrows were seen in a few areas.
American Robins were a bright spot along the way.
Canada Geese were seen on snags.
A Hairy Woodpecker was seen on a Birch snag.
Sticks left by Beavers were gathered for nests by many Great Blue Herons.
