We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

It looks like the little Anna’s Hummingbirds will leave the nest soon. They were being fed by their mom and exercising their wings this morning.

Wood Ducks were seen in many areas.

A male Common Yellowthroat paused for a short time.

Tree Swallows are nesting now.

Ring-necked Ducks were seen in the slough.

We saw several Spotted Towhees today.

An Orange-crowned Warbler was seen along the trail.

Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen near the parking lot.

Great Blue Herons were seen near the Heronry.

The Heronry resident Bald Eagles never leave their nest untended.

Brown-headed Cowbirds were displaying for mates.

Beavers were seen gathering food and grooming.
