June 11th to 13th 2020

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver was seen in a channel off the Slough.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in several areas.

An American Crow was perched on a snag.

Willow Flycatchers were seen as usual.

Great Blue Herons were looking after chicks and catching tiny fish for them.

Belted Kingfishers were seen as well.

We saw a few Mallards with ducklings following behind them.

Cottontail Rabbits were seen as usual.

Song Sparrows were seen in many locations.

American Robins were seen in many areas.

Tree Swallows are nesting.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in a few spots.

Wood Ducks were watching over ducklings.

Common Yellowthroats were seen in many spots.

We took a walk along the Lickman Dike Road.

American Crows were seen.

Savannah Sparrows were also seen.

We practiced social distancing with Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Twyla and Peter with Gunner, Werner, Frank, Randy with Chesney, Christa during our walks.
