We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Red-winged Blackbirds are usually seen.
A flock of Bushtits were found near the entrance.
A Cooper’s Hawk was seen in a forested area.
A Downy Woodpecker was seen nearby.
A Cottontail Rabbit was one of many seen.
Mallards were seen in the slough.
Tree Swallows are usually seen.
A juvenile American Robin watched from the safety of a few shrubs.
Wood Ducks with ducklings were seen in a few areas.
Common Yellowthroats were seen in a few locations.
We took a walk along the Lickman Dike road where we saw a few Lazuli Buntings.
