We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Beaver was enjoying the bark off a small branch.

An adult male Red-winged Blackbird appeared to be showing a young Red-winged Blackbird how to perform a good pose while calling.

A Pacific-slope Flycatcher was seen during our walk.

House Sparrows were seen as usual.

Lincoln’s Sparrows are passing through our area, on their way south.

Warbling Vireos were gathering insects.

A young Purple Finch enjoyed eating Snowberries.

Northern Shovelers were seen with Green-winged Teal in the slough.

A female Blue-winged Teal was seen as well.

Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

Yellow-rumped Warblers are migrating through our area.

Weather

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Liisa with Vito, Werner, Christa, Brian, Melinda and Rob with Bosley, Marco with Pepsi and Nali, Mick with Roscoe, Randy with Chesney during our walk.
