We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was busy at the edge of the slough, while a few Wood Ducks paddled around it.

Nearby, two American Coots worked the shoreline.
Two of the resident Bald Eagles had a meeting in a Cottonwood.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were near the parking lot.
A Fox Sparrow was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
An Anna’s Hummingbird was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
Flocks of Cackling Geese flew overhead.
Mallards were seen as usual.
Lesser and Greater Scaup were seen in the slough and lagoons.
