We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Common Goldeneye was seen on the North Lagoon.
Common Mergansers were seen in the slough, near the Heronry.
American Coots were seen in the slough and south lagoon.
Pied-billed Grebes are usually seen.
Great Blue Herons will be returning to their nests by the end of February.
Northern Shovelers were seen near the Heronry.
Pine Siskins were seen in the Salwein Creek area and feeding on Tansy seed heads near the trail.
Song Sparrows are usually seen. They are starting to sing to establish their spring and summer territories.
Two Trumpeter Swans were seen near the East Bird Blind.
