We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was mudding the surface of its lodge during one of our walks on a very dark day.
Buffleheads were mating in the slough.
Common Mergansers were seen in the slough.
A Common Goldeneye was seen from the main bridge, in the channel.
One of the resident Bald Eagles was seen during one of our walks.
Greater Scaups and Lesser Scaups were seen on the North Lagoon.
Wood Ducks were seen in a few spots.
A few Gulls are usually seen in the farm field next to the Heronry.
Spotted Towhees were seen along the way.
Dark-eyed Juncos were seen in many spots.
Anna’s Hummingbirds were visiting the feeders at the Rotary Interpretive Centre.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
