February 1st to 4th 2021
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
We enjoyed seeing a Beaver on a couple of days.
A Double-crested Cormorant, across the lagoon, showed some concern about something near the shoreline. A Hooded Merganser seemed calm enough as it floated past and later got onto a log.

A male Downy Woodpecker was near the Heronry.
Fox Sparrows were seen in several areas during a few walks.
House Finches were seen in Blackberries and in Alder Trees.
Dark-eyed Juncos were seen every day.
Mallards were seen every day in many locations.
A few Pine Siskins were seen.
Spotted Towhees are usually seen.
Wood Ducks were seen every day.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Christa, Ron with Ginny, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Melinda with Bosley during our walks.
