We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Bufflehead females were paddling together near the East Bird Blind.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen in many locations, including the East Bird Blind.

Red-winged Blackbirds are regularly seen.
Black-capped Chickadees are often curious about people.
The Heronry resident Bald Eagles are often seen at their nest.
A Common Goldeneye was sleeping on the lagoon, during one of our walks.
A Belted Kingfisher was seen at the South Lagoon.
Several Lesser Scaups and Greater Scaups were seen during our walks.
Wood Ducks are usually seen.
American Wigeons are usually seen at this time of year.
Anna’s Hummingbirds are usually seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
