We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Red-winged Blackbirds were collecting nesting material.
Great Blue Herons were gathering sticks for nests.
A Pileated Woodpecker was checking out snags and logs for insects.

A Ring-necked Duck paddled past.
A White-throated Sparrow was at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
A White-crowned Sparrow was nearby.
Wood Ducks are often seen at this time of year.
A male Common Yellowthroat sang and listened and sang some more.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Alyson with Chesney, Lisa, Beverly with Mogli and Sampson, Christa, Dave P., Janet and Mercedes doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society during our walk.
