We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Canada Goose has been waiting patiently for its mate. We think there may be goslings in the future.

An American Goldfinch paused for a second.

Adult Great Blue Herons were gathering sticks for nests, while last year’s young Great Blue Herons were hanging around watching the activity.

A Muskrat paddled past.

American Robins were gathering nesting material.

A Northern Rough-winged Swallow was perched nearby.

Tree Swallows were seen in many places.

American Wigeon were seen in a few spots.

Wood Ducks were seen, as usual.

A Common Yellowthroat and a Yellow-rumped Warbler were seen.

Brown-headed Cowbirds are present now.
