We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Beavers always get our attention.

The Australian Black Swan is still enjoying the slough. It spends most of its time eating and preening.

Several Female Common Mergansers are in the “waiting room” slough, waiting for young to pop out of a nest to join the moms.

American Robins were seen along the trail.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in a few areas.

Great Blue Herons were seen hunting for food for their chicks in the nests.

Wood Ducks with ducklings were also seen.

Common Yellowthroats were gathering food for nestlings.

Mallard ducklings and their mom were seen at the Main Bridge.

Blue-winged Teal were see from the Main Bridge.
