We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A Beaver was seen grooming.
Red-winged Blackbirds are always so pretty.
Blue-winged Teals were seen along the way.
A Coyote was seen balancing on a log.
A family of Canada Geese were seen in the far marsh.
A young Great Blue Heron, probably born last year was seen near the Heronry.
Rufous Hummingbirds and Anna’s Hummingbirds were seen at the far end of the road past the Heronry.
Mallards with ducklings were fun to watch.
Tiny Cottontail Rabbits were showing no fear of people.
Cedar Waxwings were passing “gifts” to each other.
Wood Ducks and ducklings were seen.
A Common Yellowthroat paused on a branch for a moment.
The House Wrens are still working on their home at Lickman Road Dike.
The little Anna’s Hummingbird was still using its favourite perch.
A female Mallard paraded her ducklings past us.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Ron with Ginny, Werner, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Leona, Lisa, Deb K., Sheldon, Beverly with Mogli and Sampson during our walks.
