August 2021

August 1st to 5th 2021

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

We always enjoy seeing Beavers.

A Coyote was seen near the corn field.

A few Spotted Towhees can usually be seen.

A female Teal was seen in Water Lilies.

A few Eurasian Collared-Doves were seen.

Downy Woodpeckers were seen nearby.

Willow Flycatchers were seen as usual.

Great Blue Herons were seen in a couple of spots.

A Peregrine Falcon and a Northern Harrier landed on the same branch in the distance. We thought there might be a confrontation between them but they seemed to ignore each other.
