September 22nd & 23rd 2021
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
One morning, a Beaver was seen, in the distance, towing a branch.
Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen on Tansy seed heads.
A Great Blue Heron was fishing and preening during both walks.
Mallards and Wood Ducks are usually seen.
A male and female Pileated Woodpecker were seen on a snag near the entrance gate.
Northern Shovelers were seen in a few spots.
Song Sparrows were seen as well.
