March 10th & 11th 2022

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

A Double-crested Cormorant was seen on a log in the slough.

Common Goldeneyes were also seen.

Common Mergansers were nearby.

Ring-necked Ducks paddled along.

American Robins were seen in many spots.

A Pied-billed Grebe was seem at the Salwein Creek.

A juvenile Great Blue Heron was seen nearby.

A few Song Sparrows were seen along the way.

Green-winged Teal were seen from the East Bird Blind.

Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

We practiced social distancing from Leona, Brian, Lynn, Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Werner, Mercedes, Janet and Hazel doing a bird count for the Great Blue Heron Nature Society during our walks.
