March 21st & 22nd 2022

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Red-winged Blackbirds were seen in many spots.

A Downy Woodpecker was seen.

A River Otter was seen in the slough.

Great Blue Herons were seen fishing and gathering sticks for nests.

Mallards were seen as well as Ring-necked Ducks.

Salmonberries are beginning to bloom.

American Wigeons were seen in a few areas.

Scaups were seen as well as Wood Ducks.

Golden-crowned Sparrows were seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

Fox Sparrows were seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.

We practiced social distancing from Terry with Bogey, Patti and Jody with Selli and Jasper, Kim with Bailey, Werner during our walks.
