April 1st & 2nd 2022

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

We saw a Beaver during both walks.

A Coyote was seen in the distance as we wandered along.

A Canada Goose is nesting in the marshy area.

Pied-billed Grebes were fishing.

American Wigeons were seen.

Wood Ducks were seen as usual.

A River Otter showed up for a few moments.

A Raccoon was sleeping in a snag.

Quite a large number of Tree Swallows and Violet-green Swallows were seen.

American Robins were seen along the way.

A Pine Siskin was seen as well.

A Hairy Woodpecker was seen near the Rotary Interpretive Centre.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Randy with Chesney, David, Bonnie and Della, Werner, Patrick with Sal, Leona during our walks.
