April 28th & 29th 2022
We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Wood Ducks and Ring-necked Ducks were seen along the way.
American Goldfinches were seen.
American Robins were seen in many areas.
A Canada Goose is watching over its mate on their nest.
Savannah Sparrows were seen in many spots.
Tree Swallow and Violet-green Swallows were seen as well.
Common Yellowthroats were seen along the way.
A few Yellow-rumped Warblers were seen as well.
We were enchanted with a group of Raccoons getting into a snag. We saw one in the snag, so we took a photo and noticed that there were actually two. Soon, another Raccoon came along to get into the snag. By the time we left, there were five possibly six Raccoons sleeping together in the snag.
