June 6th & 7th 2022

We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Five Caspian Terns flew overhead.

The Yellow-breasted Chat and American Robins were seen at the far end of the road past the Heronry.

Common Mergansers were seen.

A couple of American Crows harassed a Bald Eagle.

Willow Flycatchers were seen.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in several areas.

Wood Ducks were seen with ducklings.

Male Common Yellowthroats were singing in many locations.

We watched Savannah Sparrows as we wandered along the Lickman Dike Road.

We practiced social distancing from Charlie with Jack, Terry with Bogey, Ron with Ginni, Beverly and Craig with Mogli and Sampson, Christa, Twyla with Gunner and Nixon, Phil, Peter, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Pat with Cooper, Leona and Werner during our walks.
