We enjoyed our usual walk at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Another Common Merganser had older ducklings on the log at the bridge.

A few Red-winged Blackbirds were seen.

Willow Flycatchers are a favourite of ours.

American Goldfinch were seen.

A female Black-headed Grosbeak was seen.

A little Mink had a fish to take home to its kits.

A few Swainson’s Thrushes were seen in an Elderberry.

Spotted Towhees were seen in many areas.

Cedar Waxwings were seen in a few spots.

A Wood Duck was seen with her ducklings.

Common Yellowthroats were seen as usual.

A Pileated Woodpecker was checking out a log for food.

Weather

We practiced social distancing from Terry with Bogey, Beverly and Craig with Mogli and Sampson, Peter with Gunner and Nixon, Lynn, Leona and Werner, Lisa, Liz and Gordon with Boomer, Steve with Chimo during our walk.
