June 25th to 30th 2022

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Great Blue Heron fledglings were standing around looking amazed at the big wide world.

A juvenile Bald Eagle was seen while nearby the resident adult Bald Eagles decided it had to leave.

A female Common Merganser was seen with her ducklings.

A male House Finch was near the entrance.

A Willow Flycatcher was one of many seen.

A female Bullock’s Oriole was seen in the distance.

American Robins were busy gathering food for chicks.

Cedar Waxwings were eating Saskatoon berries.

Wood Ducks with ducklings were seen as well.

Many Common Yellowthroats were seen.
