We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
A couple of Brown Creepers and Varied Thrush were seen near the viewing tower.
Spotted Towhees watched a we wandered past.
White-throated Sparrows were seen at the Rotary Interpretive Centre feeders.
Bufflehead were seen on the lagoons.
Common Goldeneyes were seen on the North Lagoon.
American Coots were seen along the way.
Double-crested Cormorants were seen in a few spots.
Pied-billed Grebes were seen from the north bridge of the Salwein Creek.
Hooded Mergansers were seen “dancing for the females”.
Greater Scaup were seen as well.
American Wigeon were seen resting on ice and paddling in the cold water.
