March 9th to 14th 2024

We enjoyed our usual walks at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Canada Geese were seen in the slough.

Common Mergansers paddled past.

American Coots were seen along the way.

Greater Scaup were seen.

Pied-billed Grebes were also seen.

The Great Blue Heron Heronry was very active and there were a lot of Great Blue Herons out gathering sticks and fishing.

Dark-eyed Juncos were seen.

River Otters were seen.

Ring-necked Ducks were seen in many spots.

American Robins were seen in many areas.

Song Sparrows were seen as well.

Wood Ducks were seen in many spots.

A White-throated Sparrow was seen along the trail.

Several Trumpeter Swans were seen.

It was nice to see Maryanne with Lula, Tina with Disney, Pork 'n' Beans, Chris, Ruth, Christa, Antony, Terry with Bogey and Chase, Ron with Ginni, Christa, Cassia with Nyx, Alyson and Randy with Chesney, Terry with Bogey and Chase, Ron with Ginni, David, Jean, David, Lynne during our walks.
